Wall of Nostalgia Community Guidelines
Last updated: February 28, 2026.
1. Purpose
Wall of Nostalgia is a public-facing feature of the Services designed for the sharing of short messages of love, affirmation, support, and encouragement. A post on Wall of Nostalgia is called a Beacon*.
*A Beacon is a short public message intended to communicate emotional warmth, kindness, reassurance, gratitude, hope, or similar uplifting expression to the Wall of Nostalgia community.
Wall of Nostalgia exists for a specific and limited purpose. It is not a general-purpose social network, open discussion forum, political platform, marketplace, or private messaging service. These Community Guidelines set the standards that apply to user content and conduct in connection with Wall of Nostalgia and are intended to preserve the purpose of the product, protect users and public audiences, and support consistent moderation and platform integrity.
These Community Guidelines supplement and should be read together with the applicable Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other policies or disclosures that govern use of the Services. In the event of inconsistency, the Terms of Service will control with respect to legal rights, service access, account status, and other contractual matters.
2. Eligibility
Wall of Nostalgia is intended only for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to access or use Wall of Nostalgia. If we reasonably believe that a user is under eighteen, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to Wall of Nostalgia or the broader Services, as appropriate.
3. Scope of These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines apply to all Wall of Nostalgia related content and conduct across the Services, including without limitation Beacons, display names, profile elements, avatars, bios, badges, social links, gift codes, reward participation, credits, campaign participation, redemption activity, leaderboard-related activity, and any content or behavior associated with public presentation environments, Smart Mirror installations, exhibitions, or connected public display surfaces.
All Wall of Nostalgia content is public in nature. Wall of Nostalgia does not provide private user to user messaging. Because the feature is designed for public facing use and exhibition-based display, all content submitted to Wall of Nostalgia must be suitable for that context.
4. Nature of the Service
Wall of Nostalgia is designed for kind public expression. Users must only post content that clearly fits that purpose. Beacons should communicate love, affirmation, support, encouragement, emotional warmth, gratitude, reassurance, hope, or similarly uplifting expression. Personal, reflective, or poetic language may be permitted where it remains consistent with the purpose of the platform and suitable for public facing display.
Content that does not clearly belong as a short public message of love, affirmation, support, or encouragement may be removed, even if it is not unlawful, abusive, or otherwise independently prohibited. Because Wall of Nostalgia is a purpose built feature, relevance to the product’s intended use is itself a core content standard.
5. Off-Scope Content
Content that falls outside the intended scope of Wall of Nostalgia is not permitted. This includes content that is primarily argumentative, hostile, inflammatory, political, campaign-related, promotional, commercial, disruptive, provocative, or unrelated to the intended emotional and public facing purpose of the feature.
Wall of Nostalgia may remove content that is lawful but off-scope. The platform is not required to host content simply because it is not independently abusive or illegal. We reserve the right to determine whether content is sufficiently aligned with the purpose, tone, and public display standards of Wall of Nostalgia.
6. Harassment, Bullying, and Abuse
You may not use Wall of Nostalgia to attack, target, shame, threaten, intimidate, degrade, or repeatedly direct hostility toward any person or group. Content that creates a hostile, abusive, or humiliating environment is prohibited.
This includes insults, abusive name calling, aggressive taunting, repeated hostile targeting, demeaning statements, threats of harm, intimidation, sexual harassment, and stalking like behavior. Conduct intended to embarrass, frighten, pressure, or degrade another person is not allowed.
7. Hate and Discriminatory Conduct
Wall of Nostalgia does not permit content that promotes, supports, glorifies, or encourages hatred, exclusion, or dehumanization based on protected or sensitive characteristics. Content targeting a person or group because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, serious medical condition, or similar protected status is prohibited.
This includes slurs, degrading stereotypes, expressions of inferiority, and calls for exclusion, hostility, or discrimination.
8. Privacy and Personal Information
You may not share, threaten to share, or misuse another person’s private or identifying information without permission. Because Wall of Nostalgia is public facing and may connect to physical display environments, privacy violations may create serious safety and reputational risks.
This includes, without limitation, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, government identification details, financial information, precise location information, private account details, or any other information that may reasonably be used to identify, locate, expose, pressure, embarrass, or harm another person. You may not use Beacons, profiles, bios, social links, or other platform features to dox, expose, or pressure others.
9. Sexual Content and Exploitation
Wall of Nostalgia is not a platform for sexualized, explicit, or pornographic content. You may not post explicit sexual language, graphic sexual descriptions, pornographic content, sexually exploitative material, coercive or abusive sexual content, or non-consensual sexual content.
Content that sexualizes another person without consent is prohibited. Content that is sexually explicit or otherwise incompatible with a public exhibition environment may be removed whether or not it also violates another section of these Guidelines.
10. Child Safety
Any content or conduct involving the sexual exploitation, sexualization, grooming, abuse, or targeting of minors is strictly prohibited. This includes sexualized content involving minors, requests for sexual content involving minors, praise or facilitation of child sexual abuse, grooming behavior, or any attempt to use the platform in a way that exploits or endangers minors.
We may take immediate and severe action in child safety cases, including removal of content, account suspension or termination, and any other action considered necessary to protect safety, comply with law, and preserve platform integrity.
11. Violence, Threats, and Dangerous Content
You may not post content that threatens, encourages, celebrates, glorifies, or depicts serious violence or physical harm in a manner inconsistent with the purpose of Wall of Nostalgia. Threats to injure or kill, praise of violent harm, encouragement of violent acts, intimidation through violent language, and graphic violent content are prohibited.
Wall of Nostalgia is intended for emotionally supportive public expression. Content involving violent intimidation, fear-based messaging, or glorification of harm does not belong on the platform.
12. Self-Harm and Suicide Promotion
You may not post content that promotes, instructs, glorifies, or encourages suicide, self-harm, eating disorder behavior, or other forms of serious self-directed harm. Content that creates a clear safety risk may be removed or escalated for additional review.
Wall of Nostalgia recognizes that users may express sadness, grief, or emotional difficulty. However, content that moves from personal expression into encouragement, normalization, romanticization, or instruction of harm is not permitted.
13. Fraud, Scams, and Harmful Deception
You may not use Wall of Nostalgia to deceive others for financial gain, access, status, rewards, visibility, account benefits, or any other harmful purpose. This includes scams, misleading claims, fraudulent reward activity, deceptive profile use, dishonest campaign participation, false claims made to obtain credits, badges, or benefits, and deceptive links or representations intended to manipulate trust.
This prohibition aligns with the Terms of Service, which reserve rights to act in cases of fraudulent activity, misuse, unauthorized conduct, harmful conduct, or abusive use of the Services.
14. Spam, Manipulation, and Inauthentic Activity
Wall of Nostalgia may not be used for spam, artificial amplification, coordinated abuse, scraping-related misuse, manipulative activity, or other inauthentic conduct that undermines fairness, trust, or normal operation. The platform is designed for sincere public expression, and users must not attempt to distort engagement, visibility, or system outcomes through abusive or misleading behavior.
This includes repetitive or duplicate posting, low-quality posting at scale, attempts to game rankings or visibility, manipulative use of rewards, badges, campaigns, or leaderboard systems, automated or script-based misuse where not allowed, and activity intended to interfere with platform fairness or operations.
The Terms of Service separately prohibit harmful technical interference, automated abuse, unauthorized access attempts, and other misuse of the Services, and those restrictions also apply here.
15. Impersonation and Misleading Identity Use
Users are not required to use their real names. Pseudonymous participation and non-real display names are permitted. However, you may not impersonate another person, organization, brand, or authority in a deceptive or harmful way.
This includes pretending to represent another user or entity, using misleading names, bios, avatars, or links to create false trust, and any deceptive identity use intended to manipulate rewards, access, visibility, or user perception. Pseudonymity is permitted; deceptive impersonation is not.
16. Illegal, Exploitative, and Dangerous Activity
You may not use Wall of Nostalgia to support, promote, organize, facilitate, or conceal illegal, exploitative, or dangerous conduct. This includes criminal activity, exploitative schemes, fraud, malicious misuse of platform systems, and unsafe or abusive conduct that creates risk to users, operators, public audiences, clients, venues, or the Services.
Even where a particular form of misconduct is not expressly listed in these Guidelines, Wall of Nostalgia may act against conduct that reasonably undermines safety, trust, fairness, lawful operation, or the intended use of the Services.
17. Public Display and Exhibition Suitability
Wall of Nostalgia content is intended for public facing use. Beacons may appear in Smart Mirror installations, exhibitions, commercial environments, events, cultural spaces, or other public presentation contexts. For that reason, all content must be suitable for public display.
Content may be removed where it is obscene, sexually graphic, grossly vulgar, grotesque, intentionally shocking, or otherwise clearly unsuitable for shared public environments. Content need not be illegal or overtly abusive to be removed on this basis. If it is inconsistent with the standard required for public exhibition, it may be restricted, excluded from presentation, or removed.
18. Profile, Avatar, Bio, and Social Link Rules
Your profile forms part of your public identity on Wall of Nostalgia. Display names, avatars, bios, badges, and social links must remain consistent with the purpose and standards of the platform.
You may not use your profile to harass or target others, display hateful, sexual, violent, or abusive content, expose personal information, mislead users about identity, promote scams or fraud, or direct users to harmful, exploitative, or abusive destinations.
Only links to the following social platforms are permitted in user profiles: Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Other external social links or destinations may be restricted, removed, or disallowed.
19. Rules for Beacons
Beacons are the core content type on Wall of Nostalgia and are central to the identity of the feature. Every Beacon must clearly fit the platform’s purpose as a short public message of love, affirmation, support, or encouragement.
A Beacon must be respectful, publicly suitable, emotionally safe, and aligned with the intended use of Wall of Nostalgia. A Beacon may be removed if it contains prohibited content, if it is off-scope, or if it is otherwise inconsistent with the public facing and exhibition-oriented nature of the Services.
The fact that a Beacon was successfully published does not guarantee that it will remain visible. Access to the Services, account status, badges, credits, rewards, or prior moderation history do not exempt any content from review or enforcement.
20. Mirror Installations and Public Use of Beacons
By posting a Beacon, you acknowledge that Wall of Nostalgia is a public exhibition-oriented feature and that your content may be displayed in Smart Mirror installations, exhibitions, venues, events, commercial settings, and other public presentation environments connected to the Services.
Users may delete their own Beacons, but users may not control whether an individual published Beacon is selected for display in a mirror or exhibition context while it remains available on the platform. Decisions concerning display, presentation, curation, moderation, and operational use are made by Wall of Nostalgia and its connected environments.
Because all Beacons may be used in public facing settings, all content must meet a standard appropriate for shared public display.
21. Campaigns, Codes, Rewards, Credits, and Badges
Wall of Nostalgia may include credits, gift codes, reward campaigns, badge flows, leaderboard activity, redemption systems, QR-based access flows, token-based systems, and related participation features. These features must be used honestly and only as intended.
You may not fraudulently redeem rewards, create duplicate or abusive claims, bypass redemption limits, misuse credits or posting allowances, manipulate badge eligibility, use deceptive or automated methods to obtain benefits, or make false claims to gain access, status, visibility, or rewards.
If misuse is detected, we may reverse, suspend, limit, or remove related rewards, balances, badges, credits, posting rights, or account access.
22. Reporting, Hiding, and Review
Users may be able to report content, profiles, accounts, or other public facing items for review. Users may also be able to hide content from their own view. Hiding content affects only the user’s personal viewing experience and does not automatically remove the content for others.
A report does not automatically result in removal. Reports may be reviewed using these Community Guidelines, contextual assessment, severity, account history, automated signals, and human review where applicable. We may prioritize review where content appears to involve credible threats, exploitation, child safety concerns, non-consensual sexual content, serious privacy violations, fraud, or severe abuse.
Bad-faith or abusive use of reporting tools may itself be treated as misuse of the platform.
23. Enforcement
If content or conduct appears to violate these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, or other applicable platform policies, we may take action as appropriate to the circumstances. This may include issuing a warning, removing content, limiting visibility, restricting profile elements or links, disabling posting ability, reversing rewards or credits obtained through misuse, suspending an account, or terminating access to Wall of Nostalgia or the broader Services.
Enforcement decisions may take into account the nature and severity of the conduct, the risk of harm, repetition, intent, deception, evasion, exploitation, fraud, off-scope use, and the need to protect users, public audiences, installations, exhibitions, venues, operators, clients, and platform integrity.
Some violations may lead to immediate stronger action without prior warning, particularly where the conduct involves child safety, credible threats, serious abuse, fraud, exploitation, malicious misuse, or deliberate manipulation of platform systems.
This enforcement framework is aligned with the Terms, which reserve broad rights to suspend or terminate access, delete user-posted content or information, and act without prior notice where violations, fraud, unlawful conduct, or misuse are suspected.
24. Repeat Violations and Evasion
Repeated lower-severity violations and single severe violations may both result in stronger enforcement. You may not create, coordinate, or use alternate identities, workflows, credentials, or access methods to evade restrictions, moderation outcomes, or service controls.
Repeated off-scope posting, repeated abuse, repeated spam, repeated impersonation, repeated fraud, or repeated misuse of credits, rewards, campaigns, or system features may lead to increased restrictions, suspension, or termination.
25. User Responsibility
Each user is responsible for the content they publish and the manner in which they use Wall of Nostalgia. You are responsible for ensuring that your Beacons, profile information, links, and related conduct comply with these Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, and other applicable platform rules.
Before posting, users should consider whether their content clearly fits the purpose of Wall of Nostalgia, is kind and respectful, is safe for a public audience, and is appropriate for use in exhibitions, mirrors, and shared public environments. If it does not meet that standard, it should not be posted.
26. Support Review
If your content or account is moderated, you may contact support to request review. A request for review does not guarantee that a moderation decision will be changed or reversed.
This review path should be understood as a support process, not as a guarantee of appeal rights, reinstatement, or response within a specific timeframe. The Terms currently state that support is generally provided by email during normal business hours, with typical response times noted but not guaranteed.
27. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect product changes, operational needs, safety considerations, legal requirements, moderation learning, or new public facing features. The latest published version will apply once made available through the official website, documentation, or Services.
This change model is intended to align with the Terms of Service, which provide that updated terms and policies may become effective upon publication and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
28. Final Standard
Wall of Nostalgia is built for short public messages of love, affirmation, support, and encouragement. The feature should be used to contribute kindness, emotional warmth, respectful expression, and uplifting public messages that help others feel seen, supported, and welcomed.
It must not be used for off-scope content, abuse, hate, threats, privacy violations, explicit sexual content, child exploitation, violent or dangerous content, self-harm promotion, scams, impersonation, spam, manipulation of platform systems, or other conduct inconsistent with the purpose, safety, or integrity of the Services.
By participating in Wall of Nostalgia, you help preserve a respectful and publicly suitable environment for shared digital and physical expression.
